Value engineered design
Our design team creates a coverage layout which ensures you get the level of fire protection required, at an optimum cost. All our designs are in line with British Standards (BS 9251: 2021). Once approved by your team, we will start installation.
First fix
We install all pipework from the risers to the apartments or locations to support the relevant head positions and set out the location of the sprinklers.
Second fix
Once the dry lining has been fixed to the ceiling grid we then install the sprinkler heads and pressure test, completing all the necessary quality and assurance checks. We favour Viking sprinkler heads but will work with your specified product. Once decoration is complete, we fix the cover plate.
Commissioning
At this point, we undertake a hydraulic test, check the functionality of the flow switch and check the fire panel is fully operational before issuing a commissioning certificate. Of course, once the work has completed, we will provide you with ‘as fitted’ drawings, to include in the O&M manual.

Through our sister company Millharbour MEP, we are able to offer the design, install, testing and commissioning of both wet and riser systems in line with BS 9990:2015.

All our solutions are designed and installed to BS 9251: 2021 incorporating the LPCB Technical Bulletins. We also hold all the appropriate certifications and memberships that give you peace of mind.
